Description

The Ara Ophelia is a black leather heel with a little more presence than a plain court shoe. The smooth leather upper is clean and unfussy, and inside it is leather too, both the lining and the insole, which is what makes an all-day heel bearable rather than something you kick off under the desk.

The 5 cm heel sits on a platform, and that platform is the point: it lifts the front of the foot as well as the back, so the angle your foot actually sits at is gentler than the height suggests. Ara builds it on their HighSoft last, soft and supple through the inside. Wear it to the office, to a wedding, or out for an evening, in any season.
