Description

Alpaca fibre does something ordinary wool does not: it moves moisture away from the skin without holding onto it, so the sock stays dry rather than damp and cold. That is the whole argument for the Trail Trekkers, a medium weight crew sock you can wear in a boot on a January morning or in a shoe on a raw spring day without your feet noticing either way.

The blend is 70 percent alpaca to 30 percent nylon, which is what keeps the shape after a season of wear, and a nylon strand is knit in at the sock machine to hold the leg straight. An elastic cuff stops the slouch. Good for hiking, skating, snowmobiling, ice fishing or standing on cold arena concrete. Offered here in blue.

Materials:

• 70% Alpaca
• 30% Nylon

Care Instructions:

• Hand wash in cool, soapy water and do not agitate
• Rinse in water the same temperature as the wash water
• Squeeze gently, never wring
• Lay flat to dry
