Some caps you notice for the whole run, and this is not one of them. The CoolNet UV Pack Speed Cap weighs around 35 grams, so it sits lightly on your head from the first kilometre to the last. Laser-cut holes and ventilated panels let heat escape as the effort climbs, while certified UPF 50 fabric keeps the sun off your face on exposed roads and open trails.
The elastic closure fastens at the side rather than the back, so you can flip the cap around without losing the fit. Reflective details pick up headlights on early starts and late finishes, and when you are done the whole cap folds into a pocket. The Orisa pattern arrives here in a bright pink, which is easy to pick out in a start-line crowd.
