Description
The Darn Tough Number 2 is a men's midweight hiking sock and one of the brand's best-known styles, named Best Hiking Sock in the Men's Health 2021 Outdoor Awards. This Green colourway sits at micro crew height, about 8.5 inches from heel to cuff, so it shows just above a standard hiking boot or about six inches above a low hiker.
Soft terry loops cushion the underfoot, with targeted padding over the ankle and Achilles, Darn Tough's most popular cushion style. Midweight Merino wool moves moisture away from the skin and adjusts as temperatures change, from cool spring trailheads to fall ridge walks, and a performance fit keeps the sock in place without bunching. A reinforced Achilles and True Seamless toe finish it off, and like every Darn Tough sock it is knit in Vermont and guaranteed for life.
