Black leather that earns its keep. The Remonte Maditta is the shoe you stop thinking about, which is the highest compliment a pair of everyday shoes can get. A remonteTEX membrane sits behind the leather to help keep damp weather where it belongs, and a cosy lining takes the bite out of a cold morning.
The clever part is the closure. Lace it once to the fit you like, then use the side zip to slip in and out for the rest of the season. Underneath, a removable cushioned footbed lets you swap in your own orthotic, and a light, flexible sole keeps its grip on wet pavement. Cut in a comfort width, it gives the forefoot genuine room to spread out.
