Description

What lifts it above a plain carryall is the weave. Panels of leather are worked by hand into an interlacing pattern that gives the black surface texture and depth, catching the light along the edge of each strip. The leather is supple rather than stiff, so the bag relaxes into a shape of its own over the first few months and picks up the marks of everywhere it has been. For work, for a train, for a long Saturday, it does the job quietly.
