The knit is chenille, the same yarn that makes a favourite sweater feel worth keeping, and it is thick and plush enough to hold warmth without weight. The twist at the front gives it a slightly vintage look and keeps the band from riding up. It coordinates with the rest of the Beyond Soft range, so a matching hat, glove or scarf is straightforward, and the whole thing goes through the washing machine when it needs to.
