Description

The Remonte D9378 is a women's mid-height winter boot that earns its place from November through March. Virgin wool lines the inside and a thermal insole sits between your foot and the cold ground, which is the part most boots forget. A knit collar at the top of the shaft keeps the draught from finding its way in.

Smooth leather forms the upper, with a remonteTEX membrane behind it to help keep damp where it belongs. You set the fit with the lacing and then use the side zip every day after that. The real trick is underfoot: Flip-Grip spikes fold out when the footpath has quietly turned to ice, and fold away again when it has not. Cut in a comfort width, so there is proper room through the foot.
