The Biotime Mia pairs a genuine suede upper with an adjustable hook-and-loop strap, which is a rare combination in a slipper and a useful one. Suede gives it a bit of substance, and the strap lets you set the fit rather than accept it.
Microsuede lines the inside and the contoured polyethylene insole lifts out for a custom orthotic. The rubber outsole handles indoor and outdoor wear. In black, it reads more like a casual shoe than a house slipper, which suits people who would rather not look like they are in slippers.
